Need Help With 6 inch Fabtech Lift Install

I'm installing a 6 inch Fabtech lift with dirt logic coil overs (Part# K2003) on my 2006 4x4 f150. I have the truck all disassembled now, but I'm not sure exactly how to cut the rear lower control arm pocket. The directions say to do it to the driver's side. Do you cut only the driver's side, or do you cut both sides the same? If somebody who has this kit could post a picture of their lower control arm pocket showing how it is cut I would really appreciate it. I'm just really scared I'm going to cut it wrong. You can look at the installation instructions for my lift (K2003) on Fabtech's website and see the diagram I'm confused about.

I think it's only the driver side bc of the differential but I could be wrong

Just looked at the instructions for 04-08 to confirm that it's just the driver side. Read your instructions it clearly says that

Does anybody have a picture of what the control arm pocket should look like after it is cut?

I have the picture, but there is a white box with writing in it that covers up the front side of the pocket. I can see what the back side is supposed to look like, but I'm not 100% sure about the front side

If you crawl under your truck with the fabtech crossmember you are bolting in, you can see exactly how it is supposed to be cut. If you are worried just be conservative. Then you can grind it down further. But if you don't cut the front side enough, the front diff will hit it.

You still have to cut the front side straight down. You just don't cut it to the degree that you cut the back side.

I called fabtech and went over it with a tech. It turn out you don't cut the front side at all. You leave the piece with the two holes on the front side there

I finally figured it out. You do cut the front side off,or there isn't room for the differential. I'm done with the lift now

I put on a new thread with before and after pictures. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the pictures uploaded right, but there are links that take you to the pictures on the new thread
