you can probably fit 33's with no lifting. My friend fit 35s on a 2001 4x4 single cab, very similar to yours. He just cranked his torsion bars and didn't trim at all. I couldn't believe they fit, but they do and they don't rub on anything

Yea thats the 7700 "Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 with heavy duty tow package". Wheels should be 16" x 7" and are 7 lug. With that rim size taken into consideration, you could run a 285/75/16, 295/75/16 or a 305/70/16. However with only a 7" wide wheel, the 305 is getting a little wide, could cause premature wear, but they will fit. If I were you I would go with the 285/75/16 or 295/75/16, you will probably find more tire options in the 285/75/16.

No need to run spacers. The width issue is not clearance, its fitting a wider tire on a 7" rim, causes the center to balloon causing wear issues on the tires.

Spacers just widen your stance, not your wheels.
