long travel question on 2000 f150

I have a 2000 f150 4x4 its already got the fabtech 6.5in lift does anyone know pricing and sit for it I believe its just the arms cuZ there the lift spindle any help would be appreciated

No a real long travel kit isn't just different control arms. An actual long travel kit like the dixon bros or camburg will run you about $4000. Then factor in about another $5k for coilovers and fab work. Then probably about $700-1000 for deaver springs. Then a bed cage, roll cage, etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. A long travel truck isn't cheap, that's why so few people around here have them.

Yea your looking a chunk of change especially if you wanna keep working 4x4, that narrows your options to about the dixon bro's which pulls about 14" or a hnm which pulls like 18". Unless you want the fabtech "long travel" kit but thats not really long travel ha

Still gonna cost money and yea I think the fabtech is actually. The words long travel and cheap don't go together haha. Even to eliminate 4x4 the custom work cost money but 2x4 kits are a lot cheaper. Your looking at about 6 to 10k for a decent set up unless you can pick one up used. I'd start checking around on dezertrangers classifieds to see if anyone is selling anything. But when it comes time to do the rear chances are you'll be buying the deavers new because I've been looking for about 3 months and haven't seen a used set come up yet ha

Got ya at the price I got a buddy that works for sdhq offroad currently incarcerated but gives time to save money he van do it bassically for material and labor cheap he has plus 10 on his 06 front will find a pix

It would probably be a lot cheaper on you to sell your lifted 4wd and start fresh with a 2wd. Trying to fab everything up to make a 2wd LT kit work on your 4wd is going to be even more of a pain.
