Installing torsion keys to a 03 2wd?

Hey fellas, quick question for anyone who has any insight on this. My buddy has a chevy tahoe that's 2wd and installed torsion keys on it so he could crank them and use a leveling kit to get more clearance on his front end. Is installing torsion keys to a 2wd 03 ext. cab xlt possible? I don't really know anything about this I just thought it was strange he could do that with a 2wd. Any help would be appreciated on this!

I think new spindles is probably the best way to get the front end up a little on a 2wd???? I could be wrong.

I wouldnt think the 2wd ford would even have keys/torrison bars?

97-03 2wd F150s have coils. don't you have coil spacers in?

I didn't think Chevy's had torsion bars on 2wds but I could be wrong

For 97-03 2wd's, they have coils so no you can't use torsion bar keys being as there are no torsion bars.
I also thought 2wd chevy's use coils....

^^ chevy's do. i'm pretty sure even our 2011 2500 hd work trucks have them. i do know the 2008 2500hd 2wd's had them.

as others said, your best bet is a 3-3.5" spindle lift if you want some added height.

Pretty sure the tahoe's have torsion bars in the front and coil overs in the rear. You can do a spindle lift for added height, but you should also be able to do just a coil spring spaces for a couple inches and add blocks to the rear. Looking at your sig, you may have already done that, of so lift spindles would be the next step.
