2wd blocks vs 4wd blocks?

Is there a difference between 2wd 3 inch lift blocks and 4wd 3 inch lift blocks? I have the Doetsch 3.5 inch spindles and hasve to buy blocks yet for the rear. Only rear block kit I can seem to find is the superlift 3 inch block it fr 2wd.

Another option is, if you can find a 4x4 at a local junk yard you could get the blocks of it. If they are in good shape you could snag the ubolts as well.

So i can just buy some skyjacker 4wd 3 inch blocks for my truck and i'll be all set? Whats the difference? Just longer u bolts because of the blocks that originally come with 4wd's?

Actually 4.5 inch blocks since I'm going to put a coil spacer on with my spindles

There is no difference between aftermarket blocks made for 2wd and 4x4. but yes you will need longer u-bolts because the blocks will be taller and the factory u-bolts will be too short. And are you trying to make the truck level or keep the factory rake? If you want it level you want the block about 2" less than what the front lift is. If you wanna keep the rake match what the front lift is, maybe .5" less.

I don't mind the factory look so I was thinking 3.5 doetsch spindles which I already ordered. Coil spacer which I think I need an alignment cam kit but I don't even know how they work and if one kit works for both tires or just one. And a 4.5 inch block for the back.

What size coil spacer are you going to be running? And yes you will probably need an alignment kit.
