What size lift needed for 4x4 ??

Going to be adding some wheels and a lift soon but not sure as to what size lift kit I would need. The truck is a 4X4 and the tires are going to be 20x10x 35's

Being that the truck is already lifted from factory, do I need a smaller lift than if I had a 2wd ?

Id do a 6" and be done with it. Just have to decide if you want coil overs or spacers

Just curious. Why do you think your truck is "lifted from the factory"?

A little, but not enough to fit 35's and 20x10 wheels.

Exactly why I was thinking of a lift kit. I guess what I'm trying to get at is would I need a 6 or a 4 to get the clearance and look needed for that rim/tire size.

i'd go with a 6" lift and be done with it. you can fit 35's with stock wheels with a leveling kit. some aftermarket wheels will allow you to fit 35's as well, they need to be similar to stock wheel specs.

Just go ahead and get a 6". You'll wish you had if you don't.

What are the different popular kits available? I guess I'm looking for something good but I don't need a kit for the Baja 500.

Where do these kits fall as far as pricing and quality? One vs another

BDS in my opinion for quality hands down and if somethings breaks they replace it no questions asked. i paid $2100 installed for my 6" back in 2007 from a local shop.

most basic kits can be had for around $1100-$1500 depending how patient you are. i've found that at most shops it's cheaper if you are having a them install it to get the lift through them.
