is this the procomp stage 1?

still searching for the best lift for the money i have and i see the pro comp lift for about $1730 shipped.... * its the first lift. not the second expensive one on this site*

http://4wheelonline.com/Products.asp...roductId=69452

Is this a full lift kit or will i need anything else for my truck?
it looks better then the rough country because it comes with 4 shocks instead of using the stock front shocks and a huge spacer. i could be wrong with what i am seeing here because in the pictures it looks like there are more components for the rough country then the pro comp. and if this lift is what i think it is will there be potential for putting a spacer on top of the front shocks for a little extra lift?

any information beyond what i know is greatly appreciated

i guess the biggest question is if i were to order that given lift this week. based on the components with it. do i have everything there i could possibly need to lift my truck?

the cheaper one is probably, the second one should be a stage 2.

they have screwed a few f150online members before, they didn't know what they were selling and then blamed it on the buyer after they said over and over it was something it wasn't and then wouldn't refund with out an insane restocking fee.

it should be everything you need minus wheels/tires, but you can find the lift for $1200-$1400 if you are patient.

as for a leveling kit on top, you need bilsteins. you do not want to stack spacers which the stage one will do. look into BDS 8" lift if you want to jump straight to 8" from the get go. their online prices on their site are much more than actual prices everyone has found and in most peoples opinion is superior to a pro comp lift and has a much better warranty. i enjoyed mine and trashed it pretty good on trails w/ no issues.

everyone tells me about the insane deals for 1200-1400 but i have been looking for months and am just not seeing it. if you guys could please tell me the best places to look and monitor it would help a lot. i spend hours each day for months trying to find the right lift for the right money. and what did you spend for your lift?

rcx lifts use a huge front spacer that i don't want to run into problems with in the future. and if i am correct, i am looking at the 6" bds right now and that uses a spacer as well for the front shocks?

they used to have 2 options, one with a spacer and one with out. not sure if that's changed though.

you will not have any issues with those spacers, if you want 8" of lift just use bilstein and adjust to the 2" setting(rancho also has one as well now) most kits use a spacer, you are ruling out alot of good lifts for a crappy longer strut that the few include. you can always upgrade to a longer strut if you wanted as well

spacer won't cause any issues.

i never said Rough country and BDS are comparable. i guess they could be, but i have no experience with rough country. if prices are the same or close, i'd choose BDS every time due to my experience with them and their awesome warranty.

didn't even know BDS is using an AAL standard in their kits now, i had to add their rear AAL to get extra height out of the rear.

IF its designed that way I am sure its ok. Is it intended to jump hills and climb mountains...no. If lift is all that you are after you wont have a problem. That lift actually looks like its an upgraded vs. of the stage I. but its hard to say without a list of whats in it, i cant find where it says. I dont have near the experience as the other with lifts and such, but I installed a Procomp stage II on my truck a few weeks ago. i think its a nice lift only thing different is the coilovers in the front. There are plenty of fellas runnin athe stage I with bilstiens and the provided lift spacer in the front without any issues. Do it and later on if you want to upgrade to some coilovers do it later.

Also i kept mine at 6" and with the provided parts in the box achieved a level truck without an AAL. search around though becuase there are specials ran which can save you some money or allow you to upgrade to a nicer kit for a litle more money
