Sway Bar worth the money??

I was looking at installing a sway bar on my 07' FX4 SCREW. Is it worth the money and time to actually put it on? Is there that much of a difference noticed when cornering? And how important is the bars diameter? Any help and information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First thing I do to a vehicle is aftermarket swaybars and larger rims with lower aspect ratio tires. I've got an 02, and did the swap at the same time as the lowering kit with a set of hotchkiss bars front and rear, so I can't equate how much better each made, but the two together, a world of difference.

a 4x2 yes, 4x4 no...the extra stiffness in the rear suspension eliminates almost all of the inherience sway or shimmy features

4x4 and 4x2 have the exact same leafs, just the addition of a 2" block. How is one stiffer then the other?

or were you saying the sway bar stiffens the ride, and limits articulation, which is why you arent recommending putting one on a 4x4?

well if you say a sway bar is bad for a 4x4. what do you suggest if I was trying to find something to stabilize my truck during turns?

If you want to stabilize it, try an IRS haha. How fast are you going that you need to stabilize the truck? I drive like an *** and the stock suspension works fine for me. I will say my old expedition did a much better job taking turns. I havent gotten the F150 on three wheels yet, it doesn't feel right. I don't know how people managed to roll older expeditions. I would always take girls out and scare the crap out of them by three wheeling turns like I was driving a sports car.
