stop the rub please

So I have a rough country level kit with 35x12.5x18 tires. Ballistic Jester rims with -12 offset. I rub now at about 3\4 turn. Anybody know what lift I need to get to stop the rub? I'm thinking of a 3 inch body lift because its cheap. Or rancho 4 or pro comp stage 1 6 inch. I can't break the bank here. I also want a smooth ride. Mostly city driving. any advice would be a great help thanks.....

A body lift or full suspenion lift will work. If you have to pay someone to install the lifts, the 6 inch Pro Comp is probably your best overall value.

i trimmed as much as I feel ok about. Anything more and i am afraid I will mess up the body......I think me n my buddy can do the lift.. hes done one on a dodge a few years back and seems confident. Is the pro comp better than the rancho you think they are both about 1500.

both are good lifts, since you already have aftermarket wheels i'd go with a full 6". you can pick up a rough country 6" for about $1300+ shipping.

rancho has a $500 rebate right now as well if you decide to go with the 4".

start searching online and you will find some good deals

I would get price quotes at some local shops for the actual kits and installation (unless you or a friend can install it) everyone price is different. The 6" rough country that 06yz250f mentioned sounds pretty well priced, couldn't tell you how it rides though. I know my 6" stage 1 procomp rides basically like stock.

Had the same problem with my -12 offset rims even with 6" lift BUt I have 2x4. Ended up putting 1" spacer on top of kit and problem gone. Sounds like you have a 4x4 or you wouldnt even be running 35's on a level kit. 6" kit is the way to go but even with 4" kit you will be fine.

I have 35x12.50.18's also with a 4.5in Superlift and I rub. My wheels have a -12 offset also. Go with the 6in lift. You'll be much happier spending a little bit more up front than having to go back later and put more money into it.

thanks for the advice guys. I'm gonna hold off till I have enough cash for the 6inch lift. Should I worry about towing a trailer or hauling material in my truck? Like the weight or torque on the axles. With the lift?
