Post Rancho Shocks

I just purchased a 2004 F-250 Super Duty with 46,000 miles Lariat trim package. It has the original Ranch Shocks. I just purchased a slide in camper (Wet weight) #2000 lbs. What is the life expectancy of these shocks? What do you recommend as a replacement?

I'd say 30k to 50k is average life. Also, the stock Rancho's are a shock built to Ford's specs, in other words cheap. Just about any aftermarket shock made by Rancho or any other major manufacturer will be an improvement.

thanks for the info re: stock Rancho shocks on my 2004 F-250 V10. I am seriously considering a Super Chips. How is yours working out?
Thanks

It's OK, nothing to brag about.
