Rancho 4" with level help

Looking to purchase a lift this summer, was wondering if I could get away with stacking my 3" readylift on top of a 4" rancho suspension lift? Feel free to suggest anything

yes, but i would drop down to a 2-2.5" kit instead of your 3". that 3" is too much for your ball joints,cv's,etc

unless you are wanting to run stock wheels, i'd go ahead and get a 6" lift. same price if not cheaper and you will have the possibility to go bigger later on w/ out the use of a body lift

i just found BDS has a 4" kit for the 04-08's as well. wasn't aware they had added a new kit into the line-up

You might be able to, but I sure wouldn't. In addition to the issues mentioned above, your front end would be way higher and look like crap.

I agree. 3 inch leveling kits create ball joint angles that are too severe. Adding a 3 inch leveling kit to a 4 inch suspion will create the same thing. Just go with a 6 inch lift. Any reason you don't want to do that?

To the issue of the front end being higher, I have blocks for the back to level it, and the reason for going with 4" rancho is because its a descent amount cheeper then a good 6" and with my level on top
I can get about the same height, any other suggestions? By the looks of it, the 6"skyjacker would be the best for its price of $2100 ?

a 6" kit can be bought for $1200+ if you look around. i paid $2100 for a 6" bds installed, local shop charges $1800 for an RCX 6" installed. call around or check ebay.

the only reason to buy a 4" IMO is if you want stock wheels, go w/ the 6" and that will give you the option of 8" later if you decide you want to go bigger.

~$1500 shipped and it has the best offer, i bet you could save another hundred or so off it

I'm going to get your guys opinions on that, isn't that rcx lift a little scatchy because it utilizes spacers and such? Are there any other kits for less then 2k?

pro comp, fabtech, skyjacker, bds, etc can all be had for under 2k. you just need to shop around.

and the spacer is fine, you just do not want to stack spacers (that spacer + your leveling kit) if you wanted to go to 8" you would want bilstein's set at 2".

truckaddons.com has a RCX for $1299+ shipping and $1399+ shipping. have different shocks and rear block

just google suspension lifts for your truck and stuff will come up. 4wheelonline i've heard mixed reviews on, a few years back they screwed over a member here pretty badly (she lost over $500 iirc)

ebay from time to time has awesome deals on lifts, used to be able to pick up a pro comp 6" for about $1100. don't see them up anymore though.

The Rancho kit is a great lift and is just a ball-hair lower than a 6" lift. As for adding a spacer, I suggest no higher than 2", but that's just my opinion. I added a 1" spacer and I have a slight angle on my CV axles. 2" will be more severe and so on.
