Lift ??????

hey guys i got a 2003 fx4 with the 17 in fx4 rims an i like em an dont wana change with the addtion of a lift what brand suspension lift is compatable with these rims? does anyone knw?

I think it depends on the lift height and tire size. Most lift kits will specify how big of a tire you can run on stock wheels or otherwise. If your just putting on a 2" spacer and approx 285/75 you would probably be fine.

His is 4x4, it uses torsion bars for the suspension not springs. OP: I'm unsure about the suspension lifts, but have you thought about maybe doing a Body lift?

whats the backspacing on those rims.....prolly not RCX....there kit says it has to be 4.5 BS

You shouldn't have a problem. Your OEM wheels and most aftermarket off road style wheels for the 97-03's have 4.5 inches of BS.

stock wheels have 4.5 BS?...i had no idea i thought it was like 5.5 or 6 (dumb shops around here told me that)

The OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels for the 04-11's have 5.5 inches of BS. The OEM 20x8.5's for the 04-11's have 6.5 inches of BS.
