The frame doesn't show too bad on mine. I live with it just fine, but it can easily be hidden with gap guards and a set of side steps.

With a little money you can go pritty darn big. Below is the best pic I currenty have to show my suspension. I have a 10 inch suspension and a 3 inch body with gap fillers so you cannot really see the body lift. I still have an IFS setup in the front I am running 4.88 gears with more beefer axels. Have put around 70000 miles on the truck with the lift and have only had to rebuild the transmission (maybe because it had 220000 miles on it) Just make sure when you get a lift this big it has good support, i have front torsion and front and rear traction setup. Its not a parking lot ponder like people say either during the summer i tow are racecar to the track everyfriday and whenever i get the chance we find some mud to play in have had her sunk all the way to the doors and still managed to work my way out. Would recommend bigger brakes i currently have upgraded the front to a bigger caliaber and rotors and going to do a disk conversion in the rear soon.

BigRed, Can I ask what brand of 10" lift? And what type of caliper upgrade did you do? I'm currently working on the brakes in my truck, and I'm looking for bigger, better calipers, but not quite ready to drop a coupla grand. I have ordered EBC rotors and am planning to use their yellowstuff pads, front and rear, but still need to decide on calipers.

Alright so havent got on the computer for a while sorry. The lift kit is made by whiplash suspension (they had bad reviews but as everything someone isnt going to like it) I personally have never had a problem with the kit and I dont baby my truck. As far as brakes I got a a thicker rotor i believe it was stoptech and the calipers are from napa dont remeber the specs, but they make her stop, and i would never spend 2g for breaks.

I did an 8" BDS lift with a 3" BL, the gap dont bother me at all. Was gonna run 40s but figured 38s would be more practical since I will be hitting the mud a bit hard, less strain..Only thing Ive upgraded so far is the rear axles and the 4.88 gears

If i remeber the front bars and dual shocks were the only parts that did not come with the lift, i purchased the lift almost 6 years ago so I would call and speak with them.....I will give you some insight that when i bought the lift i got almost 20% off by haggaling with them. I would recommend looking at the complete cost I have now upgrades the transmission, gears, axels, drive shafts, brakes...........Its not cheap and can only get worse if you dont do what you need at first.

For brake upgrades get EBC rotors which are the same as the Expeditions, then EBC yellow stuff pads for a F150 7700, the get calipers from a 7700. that is what i have...
