im not sure if you have a 4x2 or 4x4, best way to get what you want is to call in and order them if you go that way

i dont know if the 4 hour drive to detroit would save me any money. gas is $1.28 a litre. probably cost me the shipping cost in fuel plus 8 hours of driving. damnit. maybe i could plan a trip to commerica park and watch a tigers game while im there.
is $420 a good price for a set of bilstiens delivered?

idk ill let others speak about the bilstein pricing, but why not try directly from ford? and even with the prices you listed earlier, about the reflexes, you would still save like 100 bucks and get a shock that fits your needs.

I think that from my recent experience with Monroe Sensi-Track shocks on my unit that I'd probably never buy Monroe again. I'm not sure how their tuning would affect a lighter truck, but right now I'd like to rip all of them out immediately. I'll be rebuilding my suspension shortly using KYB units in the front and rear.

i really appreciate the info, most threads are comparing high end shocks and what is "best" for off roading or such.... i just need quality on a budget.
Just go with the "red" HD gas from monroe...not the lowest..."yellow"

They are the best cheap shock going.

Cheaper and better then a sensatrac IMO.

Lets say...."less to go wrong"

this is interesting, i call in the order to 4wheelparts.com and they quote me 120$ shipping, i place the order online and the shipping cost is $20. Is that a common thing? pay more to speak to an a$$hole i suspect

The shipping calcualtion on the website is probably not right. I would bet if you placed the order you will get a call from them telling you that your order will cost a large number of dollars more.

I personally would not ship anything from the US unless that company will send it USPS (United States Postal Service). They are the cheapest hands down. It will be delivered on our end by Canada Post and all you will pay extra is the GST when you pick it up. The worst to use is UPS. I was hammered with extra charges. Their brokerage fees are off the charts and are not included with their already high shipping costs.
