is this the right logic?

I was cruising ebay looking at lifts and it has a 6 inch suspension that i think im going to get when i scrounge up the money. Then it has a 2 inch suspension, which includes a helper spring for the rear and a spacer for the coils up front. Would it be possible to combine the two and get 7-8 inches of lit out of it. Or could i still get a spacer for the front so i can sit bulldog?

If the 6 inch kit uses blocks in the back, then you can use the add-a-leaf spring from the 2 inch kit on top of the blocks. If the 6 inch kit comes with an add-a-leaf, then I'm not sure about putting another one on it. Never heard of that being done. If the 6 inch kit comes with new coil overs for the front then you can put the spacer from the 2 inch kit on top of it. But if the 6 inch kit comes with spacers in the front, then you can't stack the 2 inch spacer on top of it. You may have to get longer shocks in the back than the ones that come with the 6 inch kit if you lift it another 2 inches with the add-a-leaf.

Oh your truck is a 1995. Just noticed that. What is your front suspension setup?

The 6 inch comes with new coils and no spacer and an add a leaf for the back with three inch blocks. And the 2 inch comes with the spacers and add a leafs. i am gonna have to tear my springs apart and restack them when i put my lift on anyway bcuz some of them are a little crooked. Maybe adding 2 add a leafs will work when i do this? Maybe try to put them in a different spot?

Don't know about the add-a-leafs but you should be able to put the spacer on the coil springs, but depending what the 6" kit comes with you might have bad angles, etc. I'm not too familiar with those years suspension however I am pretty sure that skyjacker makes an 8" kit for your year I'm just not sure of price and whether or not it fits into your budget

Skyjacker does make an 8" kit for your truck. Just found it on the website Skyjacker.com. I bought my 6' skyjacker kit off ebay and never saw any 8"s other than Rizes' kits

Yea, I wasn't really sure of the price but since its doable just compare the 6" your looking at and the 8" skyjacker and make sure theres no extra pieces you'll need like drop down brackets, pitman arms, longer break lines, etc.

Yea the rough country on ebay comes with all of that. I cant really tell much of a difference. I think im just going to try and find a spacer to put on the same time i do the lift. But on these spacers it says it can not be used with supercab. Why is that?

you cant even buy the kits off the skyjacker website so dont worry. Its just an unusual kit, especially to find on ebay. Usually the only ones you find are the common. maybe check topgunz.com or jackit.com?

if your bolt to go through the spring in the rear is long enough than you can put both leafs on the rear spring.

So here is my thinking on this: The 6" kit comes with the drop brackets for your I-beams to put everything back to the factory angles. Then you add the 2" spacer and It would be like having a Leveling kit on the stock suspension. Your angles wouldn't be perfect, but they would be decent. My dad had a 2" level on his old stock 92 4x4 and everything seemed fine on it.

Yea i love my i beam when it comes to driving because it gives a smoother ride than a straight axle and is tougher that ils. But its a PITA when it comes to lifting.

Did you get what I was meaning by that? Basically adding a 2" spacer to the 6" kit would be the equivalent of adding a 2" spacer to stock suspension.
