Question torsion bars (how to raise properly)

I would like to raise the front of my 97 an inch or two can this be done by cranking the torsion bars and how do i do this. Some pic's would be good also, thanks in advance. The reason for raising it is the front sits a little lower than the rear and it would look better if it was at an even height all around..

Hey Buckdropper, if you do a search on this subject you would fine tons of info on this. Just look under Torsion Bar Lift, under the Suspension Topic Thread.
Hope this helps.

Hey,

you want to be real careful when cranking the torsion bars. After you do it you need to be SURE and get it re-aligned, because if not it can result into long term damage. Also, I only cranked mine 1/4 of an inch, because the hire you crank them the harder it is on the front two tires and on your shocks. So be sure to research everything before you do it, and remember GET IT RE-ALIGNED!!!!!
