Finally got my upper/lower ball joints done. Thanks to Patman03SprCrw who did a great job on the install.

Sorry don't have any shots of the lower ball joints yet.

Nice! I painted my UCA's and OTE's a few days before they were installed by Pat. Still rides nice.

I ordered the parts from Discount Auto Parts and saved a lot of money.
Bluejay...A couple of weeks ago, I had Rancho Quicklift Loaded installed on my 06 FX4. My friend that installed them pointed out that the upper ball joint wiggled and had alot of play. For a couple of years, I have been hearing a clunking/poping noise when I'm making sharpe turns or when backing out or turning into my driveway. Could this be those ball joints? If so, what parts should I replace? I really want to get rid of this annoying noise. Thanks.

Funtuff I had vertical play in both my lower/upper ball joints. After having everything replaced the front end feels so solid now. No clanking when hitting bumps and no squeeling when turning at full lock.

I would do the upper A arms and the lower ball joints. Got mine at www.discountautoparts.com for a great price in about a week.
