Leveling kit question
Leveling kit question
Before I even start, I have searched multiple times using multiple wordings before you all bash me. I am trying to find out about leveling kits and everything I've seen shows putting blocks in the front suspension. I have an 08 Screw Lariat and want to level it, but mine is higher in the front than in the back, at least it looks that way to me. And yes, it's sitting on level ground and my head is not deformed or lopsided, so keep the comments to a minimum. Thanks in advance.
An add a leaf or a zero rate spring is your best bet for a quick fix for the sagging rear end. A zero rate won't change your existing spring rates so if you haul heavy loads or tow, you might want to consider the add a leaf. If you rarely haul anything heavy and the back stay empty most of the time, then a zero rate is the way to go. Both are not that expensive and you can do them yourself if you are moderately mechanically inclined. As Pizzaman said too, a taller block will also accomplish the same thing as the zero rate. I fabbed my own zero rates for cheap and they work great. A taller block would be fairly easy to install too.
this.
