I believe your stock rear blocks measure 1.5 inches. I would at least go for a 2.5 but no more than a 3 inch block. You can always install an add a leaf but it will stiffen up your ride. The only way for you to figure out which block is best for you is measure with and without a trailer and see how much rear lift you need.

I did an AAL on my 2006. I needed an inch to bring it level. I wanted to be a touch higher in the back. i achieved what i wanted, plus i could put more weight in the bed and it wont sag as much.. I guess what im saying is you will still sag the same with a bigger block, you will just appear to be level, Its a much easier solution to add a block. I cant remember what size the rear block is now...1.5" maybe?? I thought guys were replacing those with 3" blocks to achieve what you are looking for if i remember correctly. My 2010 has a 1.25" block.

If you do AAL make sure to do the Long leaf, as it wont be as harsh a ride. I actually liked the ride better then when it was stock, F_ast did this also and said the same thing...So there you go

my leafs were like 115 bucks or so. for long ProComp leaf springs... and they are a pain to install, but they were worth it to me.

The factory blocks on your 08 4x4 are 2". The actual measurement is 1 15/16". I would think your best bet is to prevent the rear sag with something like air bags.
