6 inch lift install time
well thats the beast. took me longer to figure out how to post pics on here then it did to do the whole works on that truck. I will be doing a post on fuel mileage and rpms at highway speeds with the 4.56 and 35s, as there is a lot of post on here that people use calculators to tell you what it will be, but had a hard time finding real world numbers. All i know so far is at 60mph, which is the speed limit up in canada, the revs are at about 2100rpm. Im going on a 5 hour road trip to work with it, so in a week or so i will have a bunch of numbers to tell everyone. Ill even speed a bit so i can get the 70 and 80 mph figures. All though using the 60mph figures i think 70 might be the fastest you would wanna go to somewhat retain your mileage. In the short time i have had it finished, i can tell you i love the 4.56, they are awesome, doesnt downshift on hills and overpasses, and for the first time i sorta feel that the 4.6 isnt a total dog. thanks for all the help on this project everyone.
i have no idea how the second pic looks like that, my girlfriend is into photography and has some big fancy camera, she took the pics for me. i dont even have a camera anymore since i swamped my quad hunting last year and the camera went down with it. I never measured the before and after to get the total lift, but i agree that it turned out a lot bigger then i thought it was gonna be. Drives nice on the highway and no vibrations, very happy so far in the 2 days ive been driving it.
