I have a 1997 ford f-250 5.8 liter 2wd. I am trying to install the steering stabilizer {streets in new orleans are very bad} I don't know if i have the wrong one or I can't find the proper place to tie into on the frame I have the fabtech fts7005 thats the only number on it. please help if you can thanks.

The Twin-Ibeam suspension had alot of changes as far as sway bar mounts and other brackets over the years from 1980 to 96-97, every suspension company has a different variation on stabilizers for the Ibeam suspension, I found that most of them dont fit like they are supposed to, So the best way to mount it is the way that you find that works! as long as you have no binding and full sweep from turn to turn!
I have actually had to modify the mounts and mount them completely opposite of the instructions! thats just the way it is sorry!
