Upper Ball Joint Seal

I was lubing my chassis last night and noticed the seal on my upper Moog ball joint is ripped. Is there an easy fix or do I need to replace it?
Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.

replace it. really the only choice. not an immediate problem, but it'll deteriorate now. interesting thing-i was at a parts store today where there was a recall posted about moog and several other related brands that have a seal issue. i didn't read it though, so i don't know the specifics. you may be able to get a free set if you can trace the problem to that......

Thank you for the reply. I am checking with Moog to see if there is any warranty or recall. I hate to spend more money on my truck where it is 12 years old, but I plan on keeping it for as long as possible.
