Most likely the shocks. You can remove them and take it around the block once to see if the noise goes away. Your torsion bars are the actual suspension, shocks just cushion the bumps. So go easy on it when going around the block....

Otherwise, as you know.. rubber under stress will squeak. Could be upper control arm bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints etc... Get it up off the ground on jack stands and use a jack to lift and lower the tires, looking for the squeak. But shocks can get noisy.. every little movement causes squeaks.

My squeak was ball joints.

...and then shocks. Good luck!

Is "squeak" an accurate description? The reason I ask is that I have an intermittent metal-on-metal clicking sound. It's definitely left front as I can induce by quickly cranking the wheel from center to left but not the opposite. I also hear it as I drive over cracks in the road.

Haven't been able to get it up on a lift yet. Hopefully on Saturday.
