Lift for 2wd
Lift for 2wd
Finally think I have enough money for a lift, hard being a college student. I'm looking for a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift perferably around $700. Does anyone have any they would like to suggest?
I was thinking about this with the 3 inch rear block. http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/...TS97159-7.html . What do you guys think?

you can get yourself a nice spindle lift, put a set of O.E 4wd blocks under the rear and the 2" lift shackles from springtech , and shocks for less than 700 and if you want more for another 250 you can get a PA BL and get another 3"s
do what i did, 3.5" lift spindles ($400 Doetsch) 1.5" coil spacer ($40 Daystar) and 3 inch blocks ($30 procomp, 4 wheel parts) for a total of 5 inches in the front and 3 inches in the back
don't get the fabtech kit, it's overpriced

from what i've heard the spindles won't mess up your alignment but if you were to throw in a coil spacer you'd need to align it in which you'd have to buy the camber bolts ~$45. it's recommended that you get new shocks for the 3 inch blocks in the back even though i'm still running stock shocks all around and i'm fine. you should be good with the stock shocks in the front if your running just spindles.

Spindles won't require new shocks. Like others said if you're just going with around a 3 inch lift the fabtech just isn't worth it. I would personally go 3.5 spindle, 2 spacer, 3 BL. I ran that setup for a while with 35s.
