need help fast on lift and my 38s

ok... so heres the deal. i thought with my 9 inches of total lift 38-15.50s would fit fine, maybe have to trim the fender flare just a bit.... WRONG! lol. its hitting way too much to fix. i need a quick inexpensive fix. as of right now i have a truck i cant even drive. lol. boy am i hearing it from the fiance'. anyways. i have a 6 inch procomp stage one lift (spacer in the front). with a 3 inch PA body lift. i know your not suppose to double stack the spacers in the front, cuz its unsafe and can really wear on your truck. but can you do it (for the time being) until i can afford coilovers. is anyone running that setup.. spacer on spacer... and if i did get a 2 inch spacer for the front i guess i would just have to get a 2 inch add a leaf for the rear...? just throw me some ideas if you dont mind and some pics if your running some kinda setup like this. heres my truck that i cant drive. lol.

Also, just for reference for other members going big, what is the width and backspacing of your wheels?

I had a 2.5" spacer stacked on top of the 6" spacer for over a year with no problems. Offroaded the hell out of it too. It can be an inexpensive temporary fix until you can swing the 6" lift Bilsteins to run with the leveling kit.

BTW, I have the 6" PC with 6" Bilsteins and the 2.5" leveling kit on the front with a 6" block and a 2.5" add a leaf on the rear and I am clearing my 38x15.5's

Also, here is a pic of a 6" PC lift with a 3" body lift running 40x15.5s with little trimming

Where are you rubbing? If it's the inner fender that rubs while turning you could take a grinder to it. I did to fit my 37's with just a 6". Worked pretty well.

Here's a pick to give you an idea.

As others have said I think you will be fine with spacer and AAL until you can get your coil overs. Truck looks great. Every time I see a truck like yours I think about going higher with some aftermarket wheels. I am trying to stay away from chrome, but I dont know what will work with my blue/tan paint.

Anyways not trying to get off subject, looking forward to pics after adding more lift if fiance does not kill you first.
