Rough Country Suspension

Ok, ive been looking into a 2.5" leveling kit for my 2005 F150 4x4. Ive looked around called my local 4x4 shop for pricing and all that jive. Ive done a fair amount of homework but in the end i guess it comes down to experience. Has anyone used 'Rough Country' leveling kit and is it any good.

My local shop is gonna cost me 250 for a kit and the RC website has a kit for 100. If anyone can give me some insite on how they are and if they are any good that would be awesome.

Here's their website if your interested in looking around.

I used the 2.5" leveling, 1" rear block, 2.2 performance shocks. Total cost was around $200. I love it, Dont have any problems with it. I did the install and it was very easy.

no experience with the rough country but i'm sure it's fine,,but i do want to recommend to you the autospring (AS) leveling kit,,it's a great kit that allows you to keep the factory ride,it's powder coated steel spacers never rust plus there off-set too,,plus you can buy the [AS KIT FOR $82.00],,pretty much a no-brainer,,just say'in,,give it a look,,can't hurt right,,good luck buddy!!!!!!!!!!!

All of the kits are pretty much the same. It's also pretty hard to make a bad one. It's a simple product.

ya thats what i figured, but really you can never be to careful. I just didnt want to go buy the 100 dollar set to find out its crap and end up spending the 250 for the one here in town anyways. Appreciate the responses. Ill check into autospring philly.

Bought and installed the 2" kit on my brother's 2010. Not a bad install. Very easy. Had to unbolt the inner part of the lower control arm to fit the coilover back up once the spacer was on.. that was the only pain the butt... that and my finger about getting taken off... but hey, that was more or less my fault. Wouldve only taken about 6 hours or so to do, but bc of my hospital visit it took a couple days with the truck halfway in the garage...

Lift kit - $250
Additional Tools - $50
Hospital Visit - $ 550
Leaving the garage door open during a snow storm - priceless
