alignment problem after leveling kit

alignment problem after leveling kit

I have just installed a 3 inch leveling kit and took my truck to fire stone for alignment. They said that it could not be aligned to factory specs and cause my tires to wear. Is this true? or do i need a second option? Any help would be appricated this is driving me nutts

If the Camber is off, you may need an alignment kit.

my camber is setting left front at -.07 and -.09 front right. How bad off is this?

Not sure what the range is. Did you have them check to make sure you ball joints aren't worn? What are the specs of your truck?

its a 2010 f150 4x4, right now im running 265's and wanting to get the kinks out before i get my 35's.

Well, a 3" leveling kit is a bit extreme. I thought the new trucks had less rake and required only a 2" to level the truck. I really am not surprised though that your camber is off. The camber sleeves cost $50-$100 plus installation plus the alignment.

whats the differnce between camber sleeves and a camber kit?
