Rear Shocks

i have a 97 f150 4x4. i need to replace the rear shocks. the shocks have no part number on them or writing. i have Rancho rs5237's on the front. to figure out what the rear needs do i need to figure out how much of a lift it has? what do i measure to figure that out. the back end sits a little lower than the front as well. does anyone happen to know what they are or waht kind of lift it is?

If you tell us what brand your lift is, we can probably tell you the height.

Rancho only made a 4 inch lift for the 97-03 4x4's. I believe it lifted the rear 2 inches. Your best bet would be to remove a rear shock and measure the extended and compressed lenght of it.
