Tire sizes 36's, 37's for 18" wheel
Tire sizes 36's, 37's for 18" wheel
JUST REALIZED I put this in the wrong section, please move to correct section. Sorry and Thanks.
Ok, so I told myself I wasn't going to upgrade my Nitto Trail Grapplers until they wore out but I want bigger already.
Currently a 6" sitting on 295/70/18's which measure 34" on the truck. I am thinking 36x12.5, 36x13.5 or maybe 37's. I know I'll need some more lift for 37's but my issue is who makes these tires for 18's? The biggest trail grappler is a 35x12.5 but I want taller.
Here's what I'm working with:

Now, if I do go with 37's can I just throw the 4" spacer on top of some 5100's and do aal?
2 things:
The nittos were put on when I just had the leveling kit-didn't plan ahead
The KC's were replaced with two Hella 700's with HID's

BFG makes a 36 except BFG's run really small and they only measure out to be a 35. I want the tire to measure out to be right around 36 when mounted on the truck so factoring in the squish I may have to buy 37's.
What I was thinking is putting the rough country spacer on top of some 5100's cranked up 2". Then do an aal instead of a bigger block.

you have a 6" lift now. It uses a spacer and factory strut. hmm. sounds like it would work. how big is the spacer thats on it now? couldnt you just do a coilover by itself cranked up to two inches? Price im sure is cheaper how you are talking about doing it.
You can crank the Bilstein 5100's with the stock lift spacer and get 8 inches of lift. Or get Bilstein lift shocks which replace the spacer and slap a leveling kit on top (if the rcx kit for the 09+ allows for a leveling kit on top). Either way you are getting 8 inches but the second method looks and probably drives better.

I haven't priced out the difference between the 5100's and aftermarket coil-overs yet.
I still haven't found a tire in the size I want yet. I think I'll have to run a spacer or get a different wheel if I go 13.5 wide though.
Maybe I'm just over looking them but I can't seem to find the lift 5100's anywhere!!! Does anyone have a link or suggest where to buy?

The offset is probably the issue. +25mm w/ 5.98 backspacing.
