leveling kit help

I bought a truck that has a leveling kit and I believe its a 3" kit. Dealer I bought it from didn't know anything about it. My question is, is there any way to lower the front end or raise the rear like 1/2 inch cause the front is slightly higher then the rear and it kinda annoys me.

Yep, you can either put taller blocks in the rear or an add a leaf. The 3" inch kits are hard on your front end components I would personally leave the rear where it is and go to a 2-2.5" leveling kit.

2wd or 4wd?

Might only be a 2.5 kit. Some trucks sit level with a 2" and some with a 2.5. Mine with a 2" kit is perfect level.

Its 4WD. My front tires rub a lil on the lower plastic piece on the front bumper already. All this was on it when I bought it. How can I figure out what the front kit is.

Pull it out. As has been said here, some of these leveling kits cause problems down the road. Pull it out and measure it.

But, keep in mind that a 3 inch leveling kit will not measure 3 inches tall, just like a 2 inch kit won't measure 2 inches tall.
Anyone know what the actual height of the spacers will be?

I think it will vary on the manufacturer. Not all designs are the same.

only way to know for sure is to measure. lift height is measured from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender.

I know it seems like a PITA, but it might cost you the long term life of many front end components.

Measure the height. Pull the spacers out, put the struts back in, wheels back on and measure again (on the ground). The difference will be the actual leveling kit height.

As many have said, a single piece, 3" spacer is a time bomb. The closer you get to stock, the longer your front end will live.

If you have to replace your leveling kit, consider a two piece. They are more expensive to buy ($170) and more expensive to install. But they will keep the front end geometry correct which will result in savings over the long run, and a better riding truck.

And any time you take your front end apart, you'll have to have it aligned. That alone, gets expensive. Good thing to have a father in law with a frame shop!

I believe it does on stock wheels without rubbing.

Post a pic or two, there is more than likely someone on here with the same kit that can help identify the kit you have. I have a Autospring 2" kit on my 06 and it measured 1 9/16" before install. Truck sits perfectly level. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
