moog ball joints

i replaced my ball joints over the summer with the moog replacements. the new bjs have a grease fitting at the top. over a month, the grease started seeping out from the bottom of the grease fitting on top of the bj. is this normal, or did i just not get the fitting tight enough in the hole?

sounds like it isn't tight enough. Usually out of the package they are just screwed in by hand and not all the way tightened down.
