there may be some lifts kits that will balance out your truck more than others do. then again cranking up your tbars will achieve nearly the same thing i think if the kit does not take the pitch out of the truck. aside from the lift, a leveling kit is just going to bring up your front end about 2 inches to take out some of that rake angle the truck has in a bone stock state. typically a level kit is added though more or less for clearance issues for larger tires. and to not have to monkey with the tbars much.

i myself will eventually be in the same situation as you after getting my lift and off road tires. ill definately be doing a level kit to accomodate for the 36's i plan on running on my stx.

What's all this talk of T bars that haven't been on a Ford since 03?

OP, you can, it's not highly recommended if you're gonna be off roading the truck hard but a lot of people have done it with no issues. I'd do it to mine but I wouldn't recommend it to a customer for liability reasons if that makes sense.

Is a leveling kit and a spacer the same thing, like a 1.5 inch leveling kit or 2 inch ?? I could put a bigger block in the rear with a AAL for extra height in the back.. Im not gonna take my truck anywhere rough to begin with. I have a bronco lifted 7 inches for that but mainly for looks

Yes, leveling kits for 04-11 F-150's are just a spacer.

"Procomp stage 1 will come with a spacer for the front strut assembly to acheive the 6" lift. It is frowned upon to stack the Procomp spacer and 2.5 leveling spacer together. The Fabtech stage 1 uses a new front strut which is longer to acheive the 6" lift. With this kit you can still use your 2.5" spacer. BUT... It will preload your front suspension and will affect the ride. Stiffer... Your rear lift will be a 2" block. Spring for the 5" block and this will level everything out. You can run 35's but keep in mide wheel width and backspacing."

That was said by a fellow member on here on a different thread. Does that mean pro comp stage 1 lifts use spacer to achieve the full 6 inchs of height? if you so you cant add another spacer on it later on can you ?
