Skyjacker

Anyone have or have ant experience with the Skyjacker 3" kit for F150? I have a 2007 King Ranch and am debating getting the Bilsteins and just leveling the truck, or spending a few more bucks on the Skyjacker. I drive the truck just about everyday and it will rarely see off road time, so I am most concerned about ride quality.
I have had great success with Skyjacker in the past as well as Bilstein.
Thoughts?

The 3 inch Skyjacker kit is not a good idea. Most everyone has figured out that 2.5 inches of lift is the maximum without dropdown brackets. That extra 1/2 inch of lift will cause premature wear and tear on your CV and ball joints.

Skyjacker,

I had an 07 F-150 4X4 with a 2.5" Daystar Leveling kit and ran 285/70 17 Goodyear Silent Armors. The ride was like stock. I didn't have to change any shocks, etc... The 2.5" gets the truck perfectly level, 3" will make the front higher than the rear. Look into Daystar or Readylift leveling kits.

Plus the 3 inch Skyjacker kit is very expensive when you compare it to the 2.5 inch leveling kits like the Autospring, Daystar, etc. An extra 1/2 inch of lift isn't worth a couple hundred bucks.

not to mention, if i've done my research correctly, you can't run any bigger tires with the 3", compared to just a leveling kit
