Just noticed are those 09 badges? And do they come that color or did you paint them?

That is why I took them, I too have spent hours looking at pics.
found a few.
took a bunch and got to photo shop the flash out of some.
took me about 2 hours by myself. used a ratchet strap to hold the upper control arm down while lined up the ball joint.
had a pitman arm puller from HF to release the ball joint but it wasnt big enough. a BFH only took a couple of wacks to get it to release.

Tire and alignment by the middle of the week, got it down to 275 70 18 or
295 70 18. Nitto Terra Grapplers, Just wish they werent 10 ply.
They are going on the stock wheels.
Dont want to wreck my milage too much so i am leaning toward the 33's.
Got 17.7 mpg on my last trip, mostly highway but 2 hours of country roads up and down the hills at 45 to 50 mph.

Got Ride Rite air bags for when I tow the boat or load up the bed, going to be put on sometime this week if time allows.

That's how I got mine apart.
Definitely post pics with the new tires. I haven't decided what size I'll get when I need tires. I'll probably get 33s also.

Yes they are and I sprayed them black. Painted my Ford ovals black also.

All you new guys have got a lot to learn. Guys have put 09 badges on 04-08 trucks ever since you could buy them from a dealer.

BTW, welcome to the site Cableguy657 and FFEMTPSTX!

Thanks for the welcome. This site is going to cost me some money. Lots of great ideas on here!
I have been spending more time on here since I got my F150. Before I was spending all of my time on the Polaris Atv Forum.

Your truck look's great leveled. Some 33 or 34's will look great on the stock wheel's. I think a 34 inch tire fit's the best on a leveled 4x4 but that's only if you have a 3.73 gearset and a programmer. If not stick with 33's, especially if you tow a lot.
