Just letting you know that skyjacker kit is for 80-96 trucks, not 97-03.

While the stock shocks will bolt up (had to jack up the lower a arm on mine)with a leveling kit(lift coils or coil spacers) it takes away all of their stroke so you bottom them out very quickly and it becomes the limiting factor in the suspension. New shocks would help the ride and allow the suspension to work properly.
