Leveling a 2010 F150
So I just got a new 2010 F150 and Im going to make it level. What all do I need? Because.... I was told I needed new shocks and then I was told that I didnt need new shocks?

same as 04-08s pretty much, spacer lift. depends on your front height, my dad just got a '10 and it doesnt have much rake at all so he just got a daystar 1 inch front, I have also seen 2 inch front spacers from different brands
When I first bought my 2010 f150 I leveled it out 3 days later. It took 2 hours on one side trying to fit the spring back in. After i figurerd how to do it I did the other side in 30 min. Very easy if you know what your doing. Cost $80 off of ebay and was a 2 1/2 inch level kit. Didnt need shocks and didnt have to get the front end realined.
If you installed a leveling kit, you need to have the alignment checked. Usually it throws the toe out of specs. If yours is not off bad enough to make the truck pull or create irregular tire wear you got extremely lucky.
Just buy a 2-2 1/2 Inch leveling kit to level out the truck. Easiest and cheapest way to lift your vehicle. Plus you wont need new shocks. Like wandell said get an alignment afterwards and you will be all set.

I highly recommend that you do NOT get a 2.5" leveling kit for a '09 or '10. The 2" AS leveling kit in mine raised the front by a little more than 2.5". I am a little uncomfortable with the angle of my upper control arm / ball joint with the 2" kit and would be very concerned about ball joint life with a 2.5" kit. In addition, even with a 2" kit, the front will set higher than the back - needing a 1" block stacked on top of your 1.5" factory block or a new 3" block replacing it (unless you like a nose-high look).
More importantly, the job is NOT the same as for a '04 - '08. An '04 - '08 have a aluminum lower control arm with two ears to hold the strut; the '09 and '10 have a stamped steel lower control arm where the strut sits about 2" down in a pocket. This makes it impossible to get the leveled strut back in with out either 1) putting enormous force on the lower control arm to fight against the binding CV joints (commonly recommended, but I think this is a really bad idea); or 2) simply removing the two back lower control arm bolts to get the strut back in. An extra set of hands helps here. Note: A spring compressor will not help get the strut back in. I hope this helps - I wish I knew before starting.
