If you see a 4x4/fx4 with a 3 inch body lift on it, it sits up pretty high you can tell its lifted. If yours is 2wd leveled and if you add a 3 inch body lift and also add taller tires, you will have pretty much the look and height of a stock leveled 4x4 without a body lift. Your not going to sit the same comparing the same lift truck to truck. because from the start the 4x4 sits up like almost 3 inches taller from the beginning, those 2wd year models sit fairly low and those 4x4s in those years sits up pretty tall, but dont forget if you dont add taller tires your definately hurting some possibly gained height.

The 97-03 4x4's sit about 3 inches taller than the 4x2's.
If you add a body lift, your truck will be aobut the same height as a stock height 4x4 with the torsion bars cranked up.
