Rear 2" lift shackle questions

I've got a 4" rancho lift on my 2006 screw 4x4. I am looking to possibly add another 2" to it. I am wondering if there are any issues of using the 2" lift shackles for the rear? They are shorter so will this affect the ride or travel at all? Anyone else have them? This seems like the easiest & cheapest route rather than aal or custom blocks & u-bolts. Rancho uses 4.5" blocks so I would need to find 6.5" blocks & longer ubolts, also this seems more dangerous. Thanks for any help.

I used a 2" shackle on mine with a 2.5" AS level. I love it, didn't change a thing as far as I can tell. The only thing I'd say is that it probably won't give you a FULL 2"...

I ran 2" springtech shackles on my 2002 with a set of 4" blocks til i got my 6" deavers and i couldn't tell the difference in my ride with em on or off. it wasn't a full 2" but it was still a lil bit of lift

Thanks for the replies guys. Do you know how much lift you actually gained? I have a 2" autospring kit that I was going to put on the front but don't want to have the back lower. I will also put in a rear driveshaft spacer if I do this.
