top gun customz has a rough country 6" for 1400 bucks. dont really want to go with strut spacers, but...how hard would it be to get coilovers later? should i just drop the 2600 on the fabtech.........

crap, i think my wheels are 5" bs...is this also going to be an issue?

edit numero 2....just looked at the skyjacker..any good? god this is killing me, i cant make a choice

Strut spacers are fine for 95% of us. Swapping out the factory strut/ strut spacer with coilovers later is not hard, but will likely cost you more in the long run.

Kit says to use wheels with BS of 4.5". If you wanted to keep your 5" BS wheels, you would need wheel spacers.

If there is one thing I have learned after 20 years of throwing money at my trucks, GET WHAT YOU WANT THE FIRST TIME, it will cost the least in the long run. If you spend $1400 on a basic lift with strut spacers when you really want new coilovers, then down the road buy the coilovers you always wanted and install them, I can pretty much guarantee that you would have spent more money than if you just went with the kit you wanted from the start. I have done both with no drastic noticeable differences other than cost.

As I stated earlier, the basic lifts are fine for 95% of us whose trucks see primarily daily driving and sensible off road use. The initial cost is less and subsequent strut replacements are easier/cheaper as you use factory parts available anywhere. If you are a 5%er and use your truck to the extreme where a performance coilover would be a necessity then go for it.

Wherever you are on the scale, get what YOU want the first time.

Im kind of greedy..well i am greedy about the things i want. didnt want to buy something i really didnt want 100%, so i bought a fabtech with the dl coilovers..thanks for the input!

Smokin' price for a great kit. Yes, they come with a front driveshaft. Some other kits rotate the pinion up to eliminate vibration, but that can cause the front ring and pinion to wear prematurely because it's not getting oiled properly. With a new CV shaft you eliminate that problem.
