6" w/ 35s vs 8" w/ 37s
beautiful truck sledman!!!!!! I think im going to go with the 6" first then i can always throw my 2" leveling kit that i already have on later or go with the BL... Man, your truck is sexy though!!!!!
I have a 6" procomp stage one with an AAL on but tomorrow I'm getting some Bilstein 5100s in the front and having them cranked up with a 2" spacer and then putting a larger block in the back since I already have the AAL. Also putting on 37" Trail Grapplers with it pretty excited!
, Ive gone through three sets of tires in about 1 1/2 years.
Buddy, I've seen a ton of people do the same thing. It's easier and cheaper to bite the bullet and install the lift/tire combo you want the first time around. That way you can enjoy your truck and not spend you time wishing you had went bigger.
^Agree completely with Wandell...BTW update got my truck all finished up yesterday with the 37's installed and it is freaking amazing love it! I'll try to get some pics up today gotta find my camera!
Put up a new thread heres the link for the pics of my 8" completed lift. Enjoy!

BigRed, truck looks really good!!! and honestly im just not sure if i am going to be happy with the 8/37 combo as this truck is going to be my DD and ill still need to be able to get into the bed relatively easy..
Go bigger now, you'll do it in the end anyway. Just be prepared to upgrade other components as well like all aspects of the drivetrain and certain suspension components. Everything will be subjected to more wear and tear, especially if you are going to play a little. I've upgraded things that most haven't, partly from original part failure and partly out of desire based on what I have seen and learned here on the site. Those that have nice lifts with absolutely no issues are either lucky or haven't stressed the truck enough, i.e. engaged in any real activity. This is my strong opinion. I've burned through a lot of dollars to beef up my truck and little things happen here and there, major things happens a couple times a year. I don't do anything too serious but serious enough. Before you decide, have a plan for what you want your end result to be to keep you from redoing mods. It will save you time and money.
