Wasted 2hrs at the dealership -Bedhop

Alright, i go to the dealship to have them check my bedhopping issue at 53 mph and here what the "suspension guys tells me. " Well, with the combination of the 2" leveler, nitto (285\65\18) AT's, bilstein HD's and the 1" block in back and your upper ball joints play are the reasons the tailgate is boucing. So I tell him about the 150 forums and what about all the 150's that don't have any upgrades , "Ahhh-well".... I mentioned how bout checking the balance on the drive-shaft and adding friction modifier (he said that the trucks already come with it from the factory).
2 questions I have:
What are your thoughts\advice?
How can you tell if your upper ball joints need to be replaced ?

Thanks fellas

Every time I have had bed hop, it was due to rear tires out of balance. Doesn't take much.
