body level

I would like to lift the front end of my 97 f150 to sit 2-3 inches higher then the rear end and add about an inch to the back in overall height and then see what i want to do the the front from there if 3 inches would be too high. Does anyone have any recommendations in the best way to do this with a suspension lift and have it ride smooth? I just want my truck to have a more aggresive stance and fit larger tires if i ever feel the need to go bigger rather than make it much taller with like a 4-6 inch lift.

anyway, you'll want to remove your rear lift blocks (if you have a 4X4)

and install a 3 inch front spindle lift to retain your stock prings but then you might need new rims to clear the spindles...

how much off roading do you do? what truck, drivetrain, motor, trans, gears, wheels/tires, mods etc do you have???

97 f150 supercab xlt 4x4 4speed auto with a 5.4 265s on 17s I'm assuming i have 3.33s but I have never had to have my rear end apart to know for sure, everything is stock. I do a little bit of offroading during deer season in some cornfeilds that can get somewhat exciting but i am not a huge mudder like i was when i first got the truck.

Just crank up the torsion bars enough to level the truck. If you want more lift, you can add a 3 inch body lift.
