Rancho lift came in today

So after waiting a month after ordering it mt lift kit finally came in . i should be getting it put on with the next week or two. Installing myself so i will keep every posted on how easy/hard it is with this kit.

Ya I ordered mine 4-5 weeks ago and still waiting on it but I think a lot of people ordered it at the last second with the sale. Hell, thats what I did. Putting mine on myself to- keep us updated on how you install it.

will do. i was told it's not to bad to install. and yea i hesitated up untill the last sec. ordering lol.

Very cool, can't wait to see that sucker installed! The install wasn't too bad at all, just time consuming. My cousin and I replaced the upper control arms and lower ball joints with Moog parts with zerk fittings. That added about 2 hours or so to the install. The other time consuming part was the cutting of the frame with a cut off wheel.

Are you installing the springs yourself? If not, get the struts off first and take them a shop to have the springs removed and installed on the Rancho struts. You can get a lot of work done while the shop works on the springs.

Yea were going to to the springs too. my buddy's got a machine on the side of his shop you can put the springs in.

Shop?!? I did mine on the side of my house!! If you have a lift, the install should go much faster and easier!!

yea thats why i'm waiting on him. lol. i want to use his lift to make it easier.

Yep same here I know the owner of a Ford dealer and they are letting me use their lift over one of the weekends and they will have a machine there too. Goes to say its not what you know its who you know!

my buddy's still got the van on the lift i called him earlier to find out. i'm giving him one more week then i'm doing it on stands at my shop lol

Im pumped my lift came in yesturday! Now i just have to wait for football to be over so i have a free weekend to put it on. Hows ur comin?
