Noobish lift questions

ive got a 95 5.8 4x4 supecab with long bed. i know the truck is lifted. and im pretty sure its a body lift. i know 2 inches. but how can i be 100% certain. this is my first vehicle. so ive never lifted or helped someone lift anything. i want to a suspension lift. preferably 4 inches. i wanna get 35's on. ive got 31's now. im tight on money. but i want quality stuff. you guys know what your talking about. i need to know everything i need to buy to get the job done. kit, shocks, everything. and a price. just an estimate. all of your help is appreciated greatly.

I had a truck like what your talking about a while back. I believe that a 4 inch lift cost about 1200 but i opted for ladder bars and extras. and i could be totally wrong. Was way too many beers ago. The front end on those trucks is what makes it more than just a leaf spring design.

the front end is massive confusion. idk all the pros and cons about it, but by the looks of it. the negineers thought it up in a dream after a night of VERY heavy drinking.
