Hellbent vs AS

Just curious,

Is the 2 inch HB spacer kit manufactured with the same 'offset' that the AS kit is made with?

Also, is the 2 inch AS kit actually 2 inches after the installation when the shock is at a steeper angle?

I am not sure about the offset, I do not see where it is advertised, but at the same time I have not heard complaints about the spacer interfering with the spring under travel from any members.

As for the spacing question, the spacer is not 2" its actually less than that, so its actual height combined with the geometry change is what achieves your final lift of 2". Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure that if I go with the HB there won't be any issues and if I go AS, it will be a proper 2 in lift

i've had both brands, first a 2.5" HELL BENT spacer, second was a custom ordered 3.75" AS (2wd truck, looks like leveled 4wd now). in terms of design the AS is best IMO. it has an offset to prevent spring contact (HBS DOES NOT), better welds and rust proof coating.

Much appreciated. This is exactly the info I was looking for before I pull the trigger and get everything installed. 2 inch AS kit it is!

Pics with the level, monsters and trail graps in about a week

Sounds like we've read from the same playbook. I just ordered my 2.5in AS kit and will be getting monsters and trail graps at the end of next week. What size trail graps are you getting? I think I'm going with the 295/70/18.

Haha we have indeed. I'm getting the exact same set up. It's a bit popular around these forums, but fortunately I don't think anyone in my area will have this wheel/tire combo. I'm looking very forward to it

never had an issue with hell bent. have used both types with different trucks and the effect is the same, ride the same, and steering the same. i say go either one. dont jump to one with an added feature. they are equal in the job they do.
