2" Leveling Kit

Is it a serious alignment problem? The Ford dealership was saying its a big job with shims and what not...... thought it was just a simple alignment after installing the leveling kit whats up with his response??

You were given some misinformation. Aparantly whoever you spoke with is unfamilar with leveling kits for your trucks. A very, very few members have reported that they needed to add adjustable camber bolts ($40 at most parts stores) to get their alignment within specs. I'd say 95% of trucks don't need them.

My toe was only slightly off after installing the 2" AS leveling kit on my '09 4x4. With the '09 and '10 4x4 it is not possible to reinstall the strut with the leveling kit bolted-on without seriously stressing your CV joints unless you take off the two lower control arm bolts. I tried to put my control arm back on as close as possible to the original position (paint scar shows the original), and my camber and caster were still in spec!

p.s. on the '09 and '10, a 2" leveling kit lifts the front nearly 2.75". A stacked 1" block from fatbobsgarage gave a little rake back instead of the nose-high look the leveling kit gave originally. I really like the stance now!
