leveling kits and mudflaps?

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I have an 07 f150 lariat 4x4 and want to do a 2.5 leveling kit and 275/70r18 toyo mt tires and from everything i have read(correct me if im wrong) should not be a problem but i noticed that almost nobody has mudflaps, is this because they will rub or because you guys dont like them? thanks for any info

I myself want to do the same thing to mine. I heard that the tuff country was a good one. But i was looking at the 2.5 front and the 1.5 rear add a leaf with a set of new shocks. Ive seen pics and it looks great. No bed sag when there is a load. I like that. dont know if they are good though?
Not to sure about the mudflaps though??? Not big on them myself. I see most people just put on bigger fender flares. Gives a nice broad look.

you could get some of those "Yosemite Sam back off mud flaps" they look really sweet.... lol. I cant say if i have seen any mud flaps for sale for these trucks. Actually most people on here have fender flares. I need to get a set myself. 275/70r18's will look really small with a 2.5 inch lift i have 285/65/18 nitto terra-grapplers on my truck and they look small i should of went with a 305/60r18 they fill up the wheel well nicely.

I used the billstein shocks to give me a 2 inch lift i dont know if they have a 2.5 inch lift out now. another option to a add a leaf is the firestone ride rite bags. I have used them with no problems for 2 years. when i dont have a load i keep 5 lbs of pressure and it rides like stock. when i load my truck i put about 30 psi in the bags and the truck will set level

I dont think that a small flap would look too bad. And if your on gravel, that will screw up a paint job quick! Ive seen some hard plastic/molded ones on the 150 that didnt look bad at all. Im sure ford has a set for your rig somewhere.

I just wrapped a set of new 10 ply Goodyear dura tracks last winter so im not gonna be lifting anytime soon. The tires are incredibly agressive and mean looking on mine. but with a lift kit they wouldnt be so cool anymore. I should have just bought a set of rims and and my tires in the 35's. But i was in a hurry for tires. They are just a tad bigger than stock right now. They will be fine with a leveler but thats it!

I swear i have seen them before but cant seem to find them anywhere but i like the thick rubber with the chrome plate at the bottom and i thought i had seen one with and offset plate at the top that made the flap itself sit back. i just cant seem to find them and have no clue who makes them

People just dislike mud flaps, including myself. Personally I think they take away from the look of the truck. But if you like it that's what counts.

Agreed. I hate mudflaps 100%, but if you want mudflaps I'm pretty sure they wont rub a 275 toyo mt. I'm running 295/70/17 and it doesn't look like it would rub mudflaps if I had them.
