Im going to ask a DUMB ?

Ok so i made a thread about lifts for my Screw... Everyone told me to stay away from torsion keys, which i am. But my question is, " What did they mean by the aftermarket keys go to far? "
That kinda confused me, Like do they lift it too far? can it not me adjusted when i have a font end alignment? Im just wondering. Im going to crank them up to level the truck then thinking about just a body life for now but that threw me off so i had to ask... Sorry for the dumb question but appreciate who ever explains it to me.

Aftermarket keys will allow you raise the front end to a point so high that it puts the ball and CV joints at an extreme level, and to a point that the suspension trave is almost maxed out (no more extension) and riding on the bump stops. VERY rough ride and not good on the truck.

Think of it like this, Using keys to lift your truck is like airing your tires to 37's.

when you tighten your torsion bars they spin and lower the lower control arms down, thus lifting the front end of the truck up.

torsion keys re-index the torsion bars, basically like adding a longer bolt to the torsion bars so you can tighten them even more and that is what causes the severe angles.

Cranking them will make for a rougher ride but nothing to terrible.
