replace rear shock

since i put the level spacer on in june i've been off roading a bit, and feeding cows every now and then (about 1000lbs of cow feed in the bed causing the rear to sag quite a bit), could this be killing my shocks with all that weight? when i unload it all the front of my truck sits about 1 inch high, it used to be perfectly level, should i replace my rear shocks?

No, weight does not kill your shocks as they support zero weight to begin with. The rear most likely sits lower from the added weight causing the springs to finally settle a little.

i know shocks just keep the truck from bouncing and the leafs hold the weight, so my leafs are worn in? should i replace shocks anyway since it's 77k miles and 13y.o. OEM?

You left out that bit of info...oh yea, they could use replacing, but still no bearing on how it sits.
