3" body lift and cranked torsion bars?

Hey guys, I just ordered my 35's and intend to put a 3" PA body lift on my 2000 4x4 ext. cab 150. I wanted to go with 35s but am not in love with the big tire/little lift look. I was wondering if I can maybe turn up those torsion bars 1-1.5 inches up front and then add a 1-1.5 add a leaf in *** end to give me a total of 4-4.5" overall?
I could go ahead and get the RCX 5" suspension lift, but then I am at 1000$ not counting labor as opposed to the 3" body for 195$ and less than 60 for the rear AAL's.
Anyone see a negative to doing it or have any pics of this combination?
Really appreciate it.

Almost same set-up. 3" BL, Pro-Comp AAL in back. Torsion bars still have a little room for a little more crankin'.
